Ear pain saga

So, I went back to the doctor today because by ear was red and hurting more then yesterday. While examining my ear again he noticed that I had pimple like bump next to the so called "bug bite". So he then took a Q-Tip and used the wooden end to poke both the "bug bite" and the pimple looking thing and asked, "Does this hurt?". I mean really... you go poking around in someones red/swollen ear and ask "Does this hurt?" what answer do you really think you are going to get??? So anyhow I humored him and screamed "YES!!" However the pimple looking thing which he then informed me was a boil, hurt much worse. He finally told me that it is not a bug bite like we originally thought, but an infected boil! Which is treated with antibiotics, Motrin, and a wet hot compress! So that is the latest in the ear pain saga!

Back from the Doc

So the doctor confirmed my diagnosis of a sting/bite in my ear. Which as you can guess... sucks... So I have Hydrocortisone cream to put on there 3 times a days, and then 800MG Motrin 3 times a day for the pain. So ya! My first sting/bite! It is still VERY tender to the touch and throbs! No good...

Ear bite...

So I think I was bite by a spider last night... inside my ear! It freakn' hurts so bad and I am so uncomfortable I can't even begin to explain just how uncomfortable I feel. I go to the doctor in 20 min so we will see what he says... I'll keep ya posted!

Work!

Work is CRAZY!

With the holidays around the corner I don't have a minute to breathe! I am pretty much single handly putting an event together to get toys for the boys and girls club, along with my normal duties of craigs list posting, video editing, & video uploading!

Bill is coming home early!!!

They are shipping him home for Thanksgiving! He will be here tonight and has to go back to LA on Friday morning. So its a short trip but just long enough to get my Bill fix in! So needless to say I am VERY excited!!!

GAH!

I am sooooo ready for Bill to be home. I am done with being alone! I think I have like 3 weeks left... GAH!

COLD & Wrong

IT 36 DEGREES HERE!!!! AND ITS 9:30 AM!!!! THE SUN IS UP!!!! THERE IS NO REASON FOR THIS COLDNESS!!!!

As you can imagine I am all bundled up with a sweater, jacket, scarf, and gloves! Oh ya and I have a personal heater at my desk!!

Aside from the crazy cold, I had training this morning... and by the end of the hour my legs were uncontrollably shaking... not a good sign. But at least I know what she is doing is working!

On another note we had our work Thanksgiving Potluck yesterday, which was a Thursday and we had it at 11:30. Now let me know if this just my morals getting in the way or if this a bit out of control... My boss brought beer, and someone else brought 3 bottles of wine! Call me crazy but I feel it's a little inappropriate to be drinking at a work party on a Thursday afternoon! I just believe that there is a time and a place for drinking and the work place is not one of them!

New position

So as of yesterday I am now the new Receptionist at the Cove office. Which means I will be doing my normal duties as a Broker asst. and now the new duties of a Receptionist. I guess that's a good thing cause it will keep me busy, but I really like my old desk and I like being able to get up and go where ever when ever. But whatever, I very well could have been the one that got laid off yesterday and not the other Receptionist. So I will count my blessings there! Another day of work here I come!
